Evanescence are an American rock band and although their line-up has seen a number of changes since the formation of the band in 1995, the lead singer and pianist Amy Lee has remained a constant. Evanescence burst onto the rock scene in 2003 with the release of their debut album Fallen. The album has sold more than 17 million copies worldwide and included the mega-hit "Bring Me to Life".
