He also fronted the more melodic, highly successful rock act Lionsheart, not to mention a stint singing for Bristolian thrashers Onslaught. On this album melodic traditional metal and more sleek power metal elements meet with the occasional bit of rock. But overall ‘Personal Crisis’ is a strong NWOBHM based album that crafts skilfully together the familiar elements of classic metal music that Steve has mastered over years of being a key figure of the genre.
