'Incoming Death' is the ninth studio album by Dutch death-doom band Asphyx, released on 30th September 2016 by Century Media Records.
It's been four years since Asphyx released their eighth album 'Deathhammer', which was a resounding success. Now, their follow up 'Incoming Death' is ready to launch. It features fast, crisp, short attacks as well as sludgy, doom-infused tracks with dark guitar melodies. In between, there are sizzling mid-tempo stompers and tracks peppered with Slayer references. Asphyx's stylistic framework is 666% old school, and all musical variations are, of course, far from crazy experiments, but that's exactly what it's all about: pure, devastating, unadulterated death metal!
