Shipping & Delivery

Before & when your order ships

Eyesore Merch is based in and ship from the United Kingdom.

Our aim is to ship all orders within two working days of receiving a cleared payment.

Once your order ships, you will receive a email titled: "Your Eyesore Merch Order Has Been Updated ([order number])". Your tracking number and a tracking link will be displayed at the bottom of this email.

Our post is collected from Monday to Friday every week, excluding UK public holidays. A full list of the UK's public holidays can be found easily online. You may receive an email indicating that your order has shipped over a weekend, or on a public holiday. If so, please note that it will not physically leave our premises until the next working day.

The shipping fee is calculated based on the total order weight: the larger and heavier the order, the higher the fee.

UK orders

We ship all UK orders via Royal Mail Second Class. This service normally takes 2-5 working days from shipment, up to a maximum of 10 working days since despatch. Please note that for Royal Mail, Saturday counts as a working day, but not Sunday.

Royal Mail Second Class comes with a Delivery Confirmation Number. This is not full, end-to-end tracking as such, but activates upon a delivery scan (please note that a 'delivery event' includes delivery to a safe place, a neighbour, or taken back to the nearest depot: a note should be left in all these cases).

If you require a fully trackable service, or require the order urgently, please contact us and we will be happy to offer a quote.

Heavier orders may be upgraded to Royal Mail First Class. This increased cost will be automatically applied and reflected in the shipping fee.

International orders

Orders to the USA

Our shipments to the USA ship via a fully trackable USPS service, USPS Parcel Select. Your USPS number will be shown on the shipping notification email. This number will become active on the USPS tracking site once it enters the USPS network, which is generally within one week of despatch. These shipments generally take 10-14 days to arrive.

Orders to other major international destinations

Our international mail carrier is Whistl, the mail arm of the FedEx & TNT courier group. The standard service we use, Whistl Insight Packet, is part-tracked. This means that the number shown on the shipping notification email is only valid and trackable within the UK: once the package leaves the UK, the tracking information will not update again. This may give the impression that the package has become stuck, or is being held; please be assured that your package is en route.

This service generally takes 5-18 days since shipment, but can take up to a maximum of 40 days since despatch.

Fore the Republic of Ireland, this service generally takes 3-10 days since shipment, but can take up to a maximum of 40 days since despatch.

For destinations further east, including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the broader Far East etc, we estimate that this service generally takes 7-21 days since shipment, but can take up to a maximum of 40 days since despatch..

Delivery will be handled by your national mail carrier. For example, in Canada, it will be delivered by Canada Post.

Tracking

UK customers only - if you are require a guaranteed fully-tracked service, please contact us after placing your order. We will provide a quote and instructions on how to make an additional payment.
 
International customers (ex. US) - we also offer a fully-tracked international service, Royal Mail International Tracked. For lower-weight orders, you will be offered the options of a standard (untracked) or tracked service. For heavier-weight orders, you may notice that the untracked service is no longer available. This is because as the order becomes heavier, so does the value. Full, end-to-end tracking for a high-value order improves the security of the parcel, ensures that it will reach you in a safe condition, and offers peace of mind for both parties.

Please note that for some destinations, we require the package to be shipped on a trackable service. For more information and the full list of destinations, please see the section below.
 
After shipment - order not received / return

Please include your order number in the subject. This is so that we can identify your order and answer with your enquiry as quickly as possible.

On receiving your order, if you are not entirely happy with the product, please refer to our returns policy.

Customs charges

Eyesore Merch is based in and ship from the United Kingdom.

We understand that for international customers, particularly in Europe since the UK's exit from the European Union, sometimes a fee to receive the package may be charged by the local customs authority. Whether this occurs is beyond our control, and the payment of any such fee that may be charged (import tax, duty, or any similar customs fees) is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Please be aware that we cannot declare the value of an order to be lower for the purpose of reducing the likelihood of your package attracting a customs fee. In order to comply with customs laws both in the UK and internationally, we are obliged to declare the true sales value of the goods.
 
Tracked International Shipping Locations - Terms & Conditions

We ship to most major international destinations. However, for certain locations, we require an upgrade to the standard shipping fee, in order to ship your parcel on a fully trackable service. This is for the security of the parcel, to ensure that it will reach you in a safe condition, and for peace of mind for both parties.

Unfortunately, international tracking to many destinations is a premium service in the UK, and is not included as part of a standard postal shipment.

The relevant upgrade fee will be automatically applied to the shipping fee at checkout - this will cover the cost of upgrading your shipment to a tracked service. Your tracking number will be indicated on the bottom of the shipping confirmation email. You can follow the progress of the parcel on the track & trace websites of Royal Mail, and your national mail carrier.
