Prog-rock giants Emerson, Lake & Palmer were formed in 1970 by brilliant keyboard virtuoso Keith Emerson, gifted vocalist/composer/guitarist Greg Lake and dynamic drummer/percussionist Carl Palmer. Throughout their career, the group has performed at some of the most famous venues in the world.
For the first time, 'Out Of This World: Live (1970 -1997)' is a career-spanning box set featuring some of the greatest and most important live shows ELP ever played. Much of the content has not been reissued on CD in a long time.
The box set includes a 32-page glossy photo book with intimate and unseen images of the band by legendary photographers Lynn Goldsmith and Neil Preston. The foreword was written by Jerry Ewing, editor of Prog Magazine.
The previously unreleased Phoenix 1997 live show is included in this set. High quality, fully restored audio mastered by ELP expert and renowned mastering engineer Andy Pearce.
