'A Different Shade of Blue is released on Pure Noise Records and is the highly anticipated follow-up to the band's 2016 debut 'Laugh Tracks'. Recorded by producer Will Putney, the new LP took a slower and more methodical approach, eschewing the previous "live in the studio" recording approach - in order to channel the punch in a more thoughtful and focused way.
Under Putney's guidance, the band created one of the most innovative hardcore albums of 2019. While some musical influences are easily recognizable - Pantera, Hatebreed, Obituary, for example - the band's stylistic palette has expanded by leaps and bounds, encompassing Gothenburg-style death metal (At the Gates, Early In Flames), slam metal (Devourment, Dying Fetus), bloodthirsty thrash (Sodom, Kreator), black metal (Craft) and the mind-boggling complexity of hardcore bands like Snapcase and Bloodlet.
