Alice Cooper: "We wrote these songs while looking at each other, and every time we wrote a line I said, 'Oh, this is going to kill them. Oh, they're going to hate us for this song.' But at the same time, when you hear 'I Love The Dead', it was almost like an Edgar Allan Poe short story. I tried to write it the way Vincent Price would sing it."
