Change brings new ideas, and 'Elements of The Infinite' is the result of a flood of new ideas at Allegaeon. Essentially, it's a statement of achievement - an album that has something to show and marks a big step forward from its predecessor. With two new members, the band's positioning is completely different, and the music reflects this.
Guitarist Greg Burgess adds: "The material stays true to our roots but also explores new territory. We've had the opportunity to try things that we've wanted to do since the beginning but have only now been able to do. We're very proud of the album, hopefully it lives up to what the fans expect from us."
As for the music, fans can expect orchestral arrangements that add a lot more depth to the sound. They were composed by guitarist Greg Burgess and Joe Ferris.
In addition, the band also surpasses itself lyrically with its space and science themes. Singer Ezra Haynes discusses aspects of both theoretical and applied science in the new tracks.
