Dayseeker was formed in Southern California and has evolved from post-hardcore veterans into one of the most emotional and stylistically versatile bands in today’s heavy music scene. Their songs don’t just deal with grief, heartbreak, and trauma—they transform them into something magnetic, powerful, and ultimately empowering.
The band, consisting of singer Rory Rodriguez, guitarist Gino Sgambelluri, bassist Ramone Valerio (since 2017), and drummer Zac Mayfield (since 2022)—prioritizes emotional truth over trends and blends authentic passion and sonic innovation with lyrical vulnerability.
The deep resonance the band’s music strikes with other outsiders around the world is evident in their more than 600 million streams. And it’s palpable at every show, from sold-out headlining dates to tours with Pierce The Veil, Bad Omens, or Ice Nine Kills.
This sense of creative reverie pulses through Dayseekers’ sixth album, 'Creature in the Black Night'. Produced by Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox, Silent Planet) and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, Lorna Shore), the album is Dayseeker’s most intense and ambitious to date - massive, cinematic, and permeated by a dark, emotional, and sultry undercurrent.
Fans expecting a somber descent into depression will be surprised - 'Creature in the Black Night' features sharper edges, heavier riffs, and a newfound sense of clarity. Dayseeker haven’t just evolved. They’ve taken a giant leap to a whole new level.
Limited marbled vinyl pressing.
