'Live in Los Angeles' is the second live album by Ukrainian metal band Jinjer, released on 17th May 2024 by Napalm Records.
'Live in Los Angeles' was recorded and filmed on 22nd December 2022 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA, USA. It was a spontaneous idea by the entire band to film a live record which not only captured their live show as raw as possible, but to also signify an end of the pandemic. It was a very trying time for touring bands and the music industry as a whole. For Jinjer, this record was meant to celebrate the rebirth of music and life itself.
'Live in Los Angeles' presents an explosive mixture of Jinjer's discography, topped by their latest studio album and most successful offering to date, 2021’s 'Wallflowers'. Fan favorites like 'Sit Stay Roll Over', 'Home Back', 'Call Me A Symbol' and the game changing 'Pisces' explode with live fury - showcasing an incredibly catchy and unique mix of metalcore, djent, hardcore and groove metal flavored with progressive elements. With feisty growls and soul-shattering clean vocals, the live energy of frontwoman Tatiana Shmayluk leaves the listener breathless, whilst lethally groovy riffs and multifarious drums culminate to a technical masterpiece, cutting sharp like a razorblade.
