'The Dark' is the second album by American heavy metal giants Metal Church and was released in 1986. They
have released 13 albums so far and are still going strong.
'The Dark' is considered an essential album by thrash metal aficionados worldwide. It was dedicated to the late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton , who sadly died nine days prior to release of 'The Dark'.
The album itself talks of somber themes like assassination, death, struggle etc. The album is produced by Mark
Dodson, who is best known for producing albums by the likes of Anthrax and Suicidal Tendencies. It features
fan favourites “Ton Of Bricks” and “Over My Dead Body”.
