Released in 1986, 'Orgasmatron' was recorded by the Motorhead line-up of Lemmy, Phil Campbell, Würzel and Pete Gill. The record marked a heavier direction for the band while still holding onto the speed and rawness that defined their earlier work.
The 40th anniversary edition is a true celebration of the record and includes:
- The original studio album, remastered for the 40th anniversary and cut at half speed from the original tapes
- A brand-new remix and remaster created from the original stems by longtime Motorhead collaborator Cameron Webb
- The story of the album, written by Neil Perry and brought to life with rare photos and memorabilia
- Additional studio rehearsals and outtakes from 1985, alongside the complete BBC Radio 1 Friday Rock Show session from 1986.
