'Darkside' is the second studio album by Swedish blackened death metal band Necrophobic, originally released on 4th March 1997.
With over thirty years of active, nefarious service under their spikes and bulletbelts, Necrophobic are undisputed legends of the blackened death metal scene. Formed in 1989 by drummer Joakim Sterner, the Stockholm blackhearts propagated a singular and fearless vision from the very start. Necrophobic established a bold and vivid identity of their own, conjuring a densely melodic, but endlessly wicked take on macabre extreme metal that countless lesser bands have since emulated.
This remastered edition of 'Darkside' continues a series of re-releases of the band's discography. Originally released in 1997, this record is still celebrated today for being an absolute classic in the blackened death metal world. A must have for every extreme metal fan!
