With every album that Rival Sons have released so far, they have been able to win over new fans and, above all, new celebrity supporters. It's no coincidence that they have already played as support acts for musicians such as AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz and Slash.
'Hollow Bones' is the quartet's fifth long player, which, like its four predecessors, was produced by Dave Cobb in his studio in Nashville.
The recordings lasted from September to October 2015 before Rival Sons set off again last year to rock the stages of the world - this time supporting Deep Purple and Black Sabbath.
The result is nine new songs - eight of their own plus a unique cover version of the Humble Pie classic "Black Coffee". The band originally recorded this as a 7" single for Record Store Day 2015.
The band gave the first impression of what was to come on "Hollow Bones" back in March 2016 with their first single release "Hollow Bones Pt. 1". It quickly becomes clear that Rival Sons are sticking to what they do best on their new album: electrifying, rousing and technically flawless blues rock.
