'Chemical Invasion' is the second studio album by German thrash metal band Tankard, released in 1987. The final track is a Gang Green cover.
Tankard's second album followed their debut in 1987 and took a huge step up in terms of technique and production. Still recorded with a wink, these tracks contain the usual dose of slapstick and this time an extra boost of power and precision. With this album, Tankard broke out of the underground and earned the full attention of fans all over the world.
