Since Trivium impressively changed and enriched the metal world with their debut 'Ascendancy' in 2005, it's hard to imagine the press without them. They have been featured on covers of countless magazines worldwide and have been voted "Best New Band" almost everywhere they have played.
Their second album 'The Crusade' hit like a bomb a year later and solidified their place in the top group of the best metal bands. Triviumhad improved so much in a very short time through intensive and hard work, both in terms of playing and singing, that they were given the opportunity to go on tour with Metallica and Iron Maiden.
The now upcoming album 'Shogun' should show a further development, respectively definitely not become a successor of the first or second album. Therefore, frontman Matt Heafy and co. preferred to leave their usual environment and instead travel to Nashville, Tennessee together with Nick Raskulinecz and record the album there. The result is a monumental album that once again testifies to Trivium's unique work.
