Unearth, the metalcore pioneers from Massachusetts, are not only the trailblazers of melodic sonic extremes, having already shared the stage with bands like Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed and Lamb of God. With 'The Wretched; The Ruinous', Unearth surpass themselves by further intensifying the breakdowns, speed and brutality in songs like the album's anthemic title track, the rebellious 'Cremation of the Living', and the terrifying 'Eradicator'.
