Originally released back in 2009, Wormrot's debut full-length was swiftly picked up by Earache for a wider release in 2010. Though not as polished as their later work, the raw power this album exudes is undeniable, capturing the furious intensity of the trio's earlier, more straight-forward grindcore sound.
Even at this early stage, however, it was clear that Wormrot weren't your average grind band, with the band's unfettered creativity shining through in their unique arrangements, unexpected choice of covers (how many other grindcore bands can you name that have covered the Yeah Yeah Yeahs?) and infectious energy.
