'Indie Cindy' was the Pixies first studio album since 1991's 'Trompe Le Monde', and was released on the band's own Pixiesmusic label (in Europe via [PIAS] Recordings). The twelve tracks were recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales, UK and produced by Gil Norton, who was already on board for "Doolittle", "Bossanove" and "Trompe Le Monde"
