When New York's Imperial Triumphant released 'Vile Luxury' in 2018, they set a new standard for the possibilities of extreme music. Since then, the three-piece band has continued to develop their signature sound, rooted equally in eclectic black metal, the most claustrophobic notions of free jazz and the concept of urban cityscapes as canyons of horror, cementing their status with tours alongside bands such as Behemoth, Zeal & Ardor and Voivod.
Now Imperial Triumphant return with a fresh take on 'Vile Luxury', remixed and remastered by long time collaborator Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts), revealing new dimensions to this work - often considered Imperial Triumphant's most accessible - with its monolithic intentions.
