The Distillers are an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1998. Known for their raw, gritty sound and rebellious energy, the band became a defining act in early-2000s punk rock.
Founded by vocalist and guitarist Brody Dalle, The Distillers quickly built a reputation for fierce, high-energy performances and a confrontational punk ethos. Over their career, the band released three influential albums, with Dalle co-writing, playing guitar, and providing lead vocals on nearly every track.
The band’s lineup has included Tony Bevilacqua (guitar), Ryan Sinn (bass), and Andy Granelli (drums). After the band initially disbanded in 2006, Dalle and Bevilacqua went on to form Spinnerette, continuing their musical collaboration.
