Power Trip are an American crossover thrash band from Dallas, Texas, formed in 2008. Hailed as one of the most important modern thrash metal bands, they revitalised the genre by combining the speed and aggression of classic thrash with the intensity of hardcore punk, earning widespread acclaim for their explosive live performances and socially conscious songwriting.
Led for many years by charismatic vocalist Riley Gale, Power Trip became one of heavy music's fastest-rising bands during the 2010s. Following Gale's tragic death in 2020, the remaining members eventually returned to the stage in 2023, honouring his legacy while continuing the band's story with vocalist Seth Gilmore (Fugitive).
