Kraftwerk are a German band formed in Dusseldorf in 1969, and are widely considered innovators and pioneers of electronic music, emerging from Germany's experimental krautrock scene in the early 1970's before going mainstream with breakthrough albums like 'Autobahn' and 'Trans Europe Express'.
