Goat Horn – Official Audio
Goat Horn was founded in 1999 in Ontario, before relocating to Toronto. Seemingly out of step with prevailing trends in metal at the time, they mixed traditional heavy metal, a love of English doom masters Cathedral, and a punk attitude. The band adopted a steadfastly DIY approach that saw them tour Canada and the US before imploding in 2006.
About Goat Horn
The band was led by Jason Decay (bass, vocals), joined by Steel Rider (drums) and Brandon Wars (guitars, vocals). Together, the trio delivered a powerful and authentic heavy metal sound that combined old-school influences with raw energy, leaving a lasting mark on the Canadian metal scene.
Band leader Jason Decay later rose from the ashes of Goat Horn with a new act, Cauldron, which released multiple albums including their latest, New Gods (2018).
