Formed in 2011, Twilight Force are a Swedish symphonic power metal band built around a clear goal: to revive and expand the golden age of epic, melodic metal. What began as a tribute to the genre’s roots quickly evolved into something more distinct, combining speed, precision, and a strong sense of theatrical world-building.
At the heart of the band lies the Twilight Kingdoms—a detailed mythical universe where heroic sagas, enchanted landscapes, and epic battles unfold across each release. This immersive storytelling gives their music a sense of scale and adventure that sets them apart in the genre.
The current lineup of Twilight Force includes Daniel Beckman (Blackwald) on keyboards, backing vocals, piano, violin, and cembalo; Alessandro Conti (Allyon) on lead vocals; Isak Olsson (De’Azsh) on drums and percussion; Kristin Starkey (Krysthara) on backing vocals; Galen Stapley (Galyn) and Bradley Hall (Bramley Underhall) on guitars; and Alex Miles (Xandor) on bass.
Together, they deliver highly melodic, tightly performed compositions that blend triumphant melodies with rich orchestral arrangements and lightning-fast musicianship. Their sound leans fully into fantasy without irony, creating a bold, cinematic experience that feels closer to a film score than traditional metal.
