Tedeschi Trucks Band is a US blues rock group from Florida, formed in 2010 and led by married couple Susan Tedeschi (vocals, guitar) and Derek Trucks (guitar). Derek Trucks became an official member of The Allman Brothers Band in 1999 and has twice appeared on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. He is the nephew of the late Butch Trucks, drummer for The Allman Brothers.
Combining the powerful vocals of Susan Tedeschi with Derek Trucks’ masterful slide guitar, Tedeschi Trucks Band fuses blues, rock, soul, and jazz influences into a distinctive, dynamic sound. The band’s performances are known for their improvisational energy, rich harmonies, and genre-blurring arrangements, making every live show an immersive experience.
The ensemble has grown to include multiple guitarists, a full horn section, keyboards, drums, and backing vocals, creating a lush, full-bodied sound that supports both fiery solos and intimate ballads. Their music is as much about technical excellence as it is about heartfelt storytelling.
