Bloodbath are a death metal super group made up of notable metal musicians Anders Nyström (Katatonia, Diabolical Masquerade), Jonas Renkse (Katatonia, October Tide), Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Nightingale), and Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth). Peter Tagtren of Hypocrisy originally featured on vocals. They came to life/death after originally getting together for a one off show that saw them bring back a classic death metal sound. That night went so well that they decided to take it further and form a full scale band who have now released a number of killer albums and EPs to date as well as an impressive range of T-shirts and merch.
