Leng Tch’e are a band from Belgium known for their intense blend of Grindcore and Death metal, delivering fast, aggressive riffs, blast-beat drumming, and guttural vocals. Renowned for their punishing, high-energy sound, the band has earned a reputation in the extreme metal underground as one of the most uncompromising acts in modern grind and death metal.
Formed in 2001, Leng Tch’e initially began under the name Anal Torture, forged by drummer Sven “Svencho” De Caluwé (also of Aborted/Gurgloroth), guitarist Glen (Dark Ages), vocalist Isaac, and bassist Kevin. The band quickly established themselves in the extreme metal scene, signing to the Italian Spew Records for their debut album, Death by a Thousand Cuts, in 2002. Following this release, the band issued a split 7-inch single with Black Ops, further cementing their reputation for intense, high-speed grindcore.
After Sven de Caluwé’s departure in 2007, who was the last of the founding members. The current line-up consists of Nicolas Malfeyt (guitars, bass), Jan Hallaert (guitars), Serge Kasongo (vocals), and Olivier Coppens (drums). Their music remains technically precise, ferociously aggressive, and continues to appeal to fans.
