About In Solitude
In Solitude was founded by Henrik Helenius, Niklas Lindström, Gottfrid Åhman, and Uno Bruniusson, with Pelle Åhman (Gottfrid’s brother) joining as lead vocalist in 2003. The band released their first self-titled demo in 2004, showcasing a raw and energetic sound that captured the attention of heavy metal fans across Europe.
During their career, In Solitude released three full-length albums: In Solitude (2008), The World. The Flesh. The Devil. (2011), and Sister (2013). Each album demonstrated the band’s evolution while staying true to their dark, melodic roots. Known for combining the spirit of classic heavy metal with gothic and doom elements, In Solitude crafted a distinctive sound that set them apart in the modern metal scene.
Though the band officially split in 2015, their music continues to resonate with fans of dark, melodic heavy metal worldwide.
