A-ha are a Norwegian pop rock band formed in Oslo in 1982 by vocalist Morten Harket, guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy, and keyboardist Magne Furuholmen. Rising to international fame during the 1980s, the trio became one of Norway's most successful musical exports, celebrated for their memorable melodies, atmospheric sound, and innovative music videos.
