Ildaruni are an Armenian atmospheric black metal band formed in Yerevan in 2016. Their music combines atmospheric and pagan black metal with Armenian cultural themes, mysticism, and folk instrumentation, creating an immersive and ritualistic sound.
The band have become a distinctive presence within the modern atmospheric black metal underground, particularly through their releases with Black Lion Records.
Ildaruni’s sound is built around expansive tremolo riffing, layered atmospheric textures, folk instrumentation, and spiritually themed compositions. Their music frequently explores mysticism, occultism, ancient symbolism, and transcendence through a cinematic black metal framework.
