The Temperance Movement are a British blues rock band formed in 2011, fronted by Glasgow-born vocalist Phil Campbell. Built on classic influences and a love of groove, their sound leans on feel and intuition, played with confidence rather than polish.
Alongside guitarists Luke Potashnick and Paul Sayer, with bassist Nick Fyffe and drummer Simon Lea holding down the rhythm section, The Temperance Movement developed a reputation for songs that breathe and performances that do the heavy lifting. Their music values soul, space, and a bit of grit, blending vintage blues rock sensibilities with modern energy.
