Cloakroom are an American shoegaze influenced post metal band from Chesterton, Indiana, formed in 2012. They are known for their immersive soundscapes, Cloakroom blend slow-building post-rock textures, distorted guitars, and introspective vocals, creating music that is both heavy and ethereal.
Emerging from the Midwest’s underground rock scene, the band quickly gained attention for albums that balance crushing heaviness with melodic, atmospheric passages.
