Estertor are a Catalonian thrash metal band from Barcelona, formed in 2016 by musicians with backgrounds in bands including Onirophagus, Ered, Falç, and Wild Road Rollers. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of late-1980s thrash and early death metal, the band have earned a reputation for delivering savage, old-school extremity with a distinctly European flavour.
Estertor combine the speed and aggression of classic Teutonic thrash with the darkness of early death metal, producing a sound rooted in the traditions of bands such as Kreator, Sodom, Celtic Frost, and Possessed while remaining firmly contemporary.
