Kittie are a Canadian heavy metal band from London, Ontario, formed in 1996 by guitarist Fallon Bowman and sisters Mercedes and Morgan Lander, with Tanya Candler completing the early lineup on bass. Known for their aggressive, uncompromising sound and fierce stage presence, Kittie quickly became a standout force in the late 1990s and early 2000s metal scene, blending elements of nu-metal, death metal, and alternative metal.
Over the years, Kittie have released several studio albums, including Spit (1999), Oracle (2001), Until the End (2004), and In the Black (2009), showcasing their evolution from raw, energetic beginnings to a mature, technically accomplished metal sound.
