Ilsa are an American Death/Doom metal and crust band from Washington, D.C., USA, known for their crushing riffs, apocalyptic atmosphere, and punishing approach to extreme music. Ilsa formed in 2008, quickly earning recognition for their aggressive and bleak sound. Their music fuses down-tuned guitars, thunderous drumming, and visceral vocals to create a punishing, immersive sonic experience.
