Six Feet Under are an American death metal band from Tampa, Florida, formed in 1993. Originally started as a side project by Chris Barnes after his time in Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under developed into a full-time band known for its groove-heavy, mid-tempo approach to death metal.
Unlike many of their Florida death metal peers, Six Feet Under are characterised by a slower, more accessible style that blends traditional death metal with groove-oriented songwriting.

Commandment (2007) – return to a more stripped-down, old-school death metal approach.
Undead (2012) – modern-era album continuing their slow, heavy, groove-driven sound.
