Ellefson-Soto is the hard rock and metal project bringing together David Ellefson, best known for Megadeth, and powerhouse vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, known for work with Journey and Sons of Apollo. It is a proper old school pairing, two veterans writing new music that is heavy, melodic, and built around big choruses and tight playing.
The debut album Vacation in the Underworld arrived in 2022 and set the tone straight away. Riffs up front, hooks that stick, and a modern edge without losing that classic metal feel. They followed it with Unbreakable in 2025, keeping the sound punchy and direct, the kind of record made for driving with the volume turned up.
