STELLAR CIRCUITS is a progressive metal band based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Formed in 2015 as a four-piece consisting of Ben Beddick (vocals), Jared Stamey (guitar), Jesse Olsen (bass), and Tyler Menon (drums), the band set out to create progressively-minded music that resonates with the masses. Former guitarist Andrew Mericle was part of the original lineup in 2015. Their name is inspired by a 1970s theory known as “the eight-circuit model of consciousness,” which attempts to understand the processes of the mind by breaking consciousness into eight circuits and twenty-four stages of neurological evolution.
