Self Esteem is the solo project of British musician, songwriter, and actress Rebecca Lucy Taylor. First known as one half of indie duo Slow Club, her solo work marks a confident shift into a more expansive and direct creative space. The Self Esteem catalogue blends modern pop production with sharp lyrical focus and emotional honesty.
Launching the project with the single Your Wife in 2017, Taylor established a distinctive voice built around candid themes, bold arrangements, and writing that rarely dodges the uncomfortable bits. The result is music that feels both personal and deliberately universal.
