Legbiter are a Swedish post-hardcore/noise rock/shoegaze quartet based in Stockholm. Formed in 2015, Legbiter rose out of the Swedish hardcore/metal and noise rock scene of the 90’s with former members of bands such as Purusam, Cult Of Luna and Sentinel 5.
Legbiter blend abrasive heaviness with melodic textures and 90s alternative influences. Their sound draws from both aggressive post-hardcore and atmospheric noise rock, combining dissonance, groove, and melody into a dynamic and often unpredictable sonic identity.
Legbiter’s sound is defined by thick, distorted guitar tones, shifting dynamics, and a balance between raw intensity and melodic vocal delivery. Their music often contrasts harsh, driving riffs with more spacious, reverb-heavy passages.
The band incorporate elements of sludge, alternative metal, and shoegaze, resulting in a style that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
