Predatory Void are a Belgian blackened-sludge band from Ghent, formed in 2021 by Lennart Bossu (Amenra, Oathbreaker). What began as his pandemic writing outlet quickly grew into a full band with Lina R. (Cross Bringer) on vocals, Thijs De Cloedt (Cobra The Imapler, ex-Aborted) on guitar, Vincent Verstrepen (Carnation) on drums, and most recently Kris Auman (ENDLINGR) on bass/backing vocals.
Predatory Void’s sound is defined by dense guitar textures, slow-building structures, and a balance between crushing doom passages and expansive atmospheric sections. Their music often shifts between minimal tension-building and explosive releases of distortion and rhythm.
The band incorporate elements of sludge, black metal, and post-hardcore, creating a dynamic and emotionally heavy sonic identity.
