Inverloch are an Australian Death/Doom metal band from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 2011. Featuring two of the legendary members of diSEMBOWELMENT, Inverloch picks up where diSEMBOWELMENT left off nearly two decades ago. The band originally started under the name d.USK, performing songs inspired by diSEMBOWELMENT’s landmark album Transcendence into the Peripheral and Trial of the Bow.
Their debut mini-LP, d.USK… Subside (2012), is nothing short of epic, blending slow, atmospheric passages with bursts of pounding blast beats that erupt from tranquil soundscapes—an approach that diSEMBOWELMENT first trademarked in the early 1990s.
The current lineup includes Paul Mazziotta on drums, Mark Cullen on guitars, Matthew Skarajew on guitars, and Chris Jordon on bass, delivering a cohesive and punishing death/doom experience with deep, heavy riffs and immersive atmospheres.
