Jinjer are a Ukrainian heavy metal band from Donetsk, Ukraine, known for their innovative blend of progressive metal, groove, and metalcore. Jinjer was originally formed in 2008 by Maksym Fatullaiev (vocals), Dmitriy Oksen (rhythm guitar), and Vyacheslav Okhrimenko (drums). The band considers 2009 their official formation year when Tatiana Shmailyuk replaced Fatullaiev on vocals, and Roman Ibramkhalilov joined as lead guitarist. Over the years, the band has released four full-length albums—Cloud Factory, King of Everything, Macro, and Wallflowers—alongside three EPs, showcasing a progression from raw, aggressive metal to a more complex, experimental sound.
The band's current lineup features Tatiana Shmailyuk (vocals), Roman Ibramkhalilov (lead guitar), Eugene Abdukhanov (bass), and Vladislav Ulasevich (drums), combining virtuosity and intensity that has helped Jinjer rise to prominence on the global metal scene.
