As December Falls are an English rock band from Nottingham, combining alternative rock, pop punk, emo and heavier modern influences with powerful vocals, infectious guitar hooks and emotionally direct songwriting. Fronted by Bethany Hunter, with Ande Hunter and Timmy Francis, the band have built a devoted following through relentless touring, energetic live performances and a strong connection with their fans.
Their music balances catchy melodies with heavier guitar-driven passages, moving between vulnerable lyrics, huge choruses and high-energy rock. That combination has helped As December Falls appeal to fans of modern alternative music while retaining the raw, energetic character that has shaped their sound since their formation.
Formed in 2014, As December Falls quickly began building an audience through live shows and early releases. Their debut A Home Inside Your Head EP arrived within months of forming, followed by the When You Figure Out You're Wrong, Get Back to Me EP and a growing run of singles that established their melodic and emotionally charged approach.
Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2019, followed by Happier. in 2021 as the band continued to develop their songwriting and expand their audience through extensive touring. Their ability to combine accessible melodies with heavier guitar work and emotionally direct lyrics became increasingly prominent, giving them a sound that moves comfortably between pop-punk energy and modern alternative rock.
A major breakthrough came with Join the Club in 2023, which reached No. 11 on the UK Albums Chart. Their fourth album, Everything's On Fire But I'm Fine, continued that momentum in 2025, reaching No. 8 in the UK Albums Chart and No. 1 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
