Britny Fox were a glam metal band from Philadelphia, active primarily between 1985 and 1992, and remain cult favourites of the ‘80s hard rock scene. Their biggest hits, including “Girlschool” and “Long Way to Love”, became MTV staples and helped define the sound and spirit of late-‘80s metal.
Formed by vocalist Dean Davidson, guitarist Michael Kelly Smith (formerly of Cinderella), bassist Billy Childs, and drummer Tony Destra, Britny Fox quickly gained momentum in the glam and sleaze metal world.
