Downfall of Gaia are a German extreme metal band formed in 2008 by Dominik Goncalves dos Reis (vocals, guitar) and Anton Lisovoj (vocals, bass). Transforming their initial crust punk sound to incorporate elements of black metal, doom, and post-rock, they have released five critically acclaimed studio albums. Their current lineup is completed by Peter Wolff (guitar) and Michael Kadnar (drums), creating a heavy, atmospheric, and emotionally charged sound that has earned them recognition in the extreme metal scene.
