Kreator are a German thrash metal band formed in Essen in 1982. They are widely regarded as one of the “Big Four” of Teutonic thrash metal alongside Destruction, Sodom, and Tankard, and are among the most influential extreme metal bands to emerge from Europe.
Known for their blend of relentless speed, brutality, and later melodic and atmospheric elements, Kreator have continually evolved while maintaining their aggressive core identity.
