Samson were an English heavy metal band formed in London in 1977. They are best known as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement and for being an early band of vocalist Bruce Dickinson, who later rose to global fame with Iron Maiden.

Blending hard rock roots with emerging heavy metal intensity, Samson helped shape the early UK metal scene with energetic performances and a raw, riff-driven sound.
