Spite are a deathcore band from the Bay Area, California, formed in 2014. Known for an uncompromisingly heavy and hostile sound, the band combines crushing riffs, blistering drums, and ferocious vocals to deliver a style that leaves no room for subtlety.
Spite was founded by vocalist Darius Tehrani and guitarist Alex Tehrani, later joined by Lucas Garirrigues (guitar), Ben Bamford (bass), and Cody Fuentes (drums/production). Emerging from California’s intense metal scene, the band quickly earned recognition for channeling raw emotional fury into technically precise, punishing compositions. Their self-titled 2016 debut established a distinctive sound defined by downtuned guitars, blast beats, and visceral vocals.
Since then, Spite has signed with Stay Sick Recordings, and their music sits alongside peers like Thy Art Is Murder, The Acacia Strain, and Suicide Silence, delivering relentless heaviness with precision.
